Site reliability is the most basic devops problem. And AI knows how to do it. And with multiple AI inference endpoints existing everywhere, a single data center going down isn't enough to turn off AI access.
If anything the problem is AI being too resilient, such that we can't turn it off.
Raising interest rates is the best way to stop it though. Swaps the economy's fuel from being investment driven to being revenue driven. In a healthy economy if you can prove revenue you cat get investment. In an overly hot economy, if you have potential to get investment in the future you can use it to justify getting absurd amounts of investment now.
They've been raising interest rates since covid, Im glad I have 3.5% locked in. They caused inflation by giving out free covid money, then tried to fix it by raising rates. Inflation hasn't gone down. They say it takes time. I think inflation isn't lowered to the fed reserves interest rate. I think inflation is caused by fractional reserve banking itself. Outlaw usury.
